About CiteSweep

CiteSweep is intentionally narrow: turn a searchable legal brief into a clean list of common case citations without generating a summary or sending the brief to an application server.

What it does

It normalizes PDF text artifacts, detects common reporter and database citation formats, removes duplicates, and lets you copy or export the result.

What it does not do

It does not validate whether a case is good law, retrieve cases, provide legal advice, or replace legal research platforms. Every extracted citation should be checked against the source document.
